Community Service Volunteers

Tri County Community Action (TCCA) may accept individuals who are performing court-mandated community service. Each request will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Please note, it may take 3-5 business days to receive a response once your form is submitted.

If you'd like to complete your hours at TCCA, please completely fill out the form below and we will review your request. Completion of the form does not guarantee approval of your request. Once you complete the form below, we will review it and contact you whether you've been approved or declined. 

Community service hours are generally Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. However, depending on the number of volunteers and available volunteer work, you may not be guaranteed these hours. 

We will not accept volunteers who have ever been convicted of a:

• Violent crime
• Crime of a sexual nature
• Theft-related felony
• Any charge involving minors

We will accept these types of non-violent offenders:

• Misdemeanor drug charges
• Traffic violations
• DUI
• Non-violent misdemeanors
• Theft-related misdemeanors

If accepted, you will be expected to follow the rules and policies Tri County Community Action sets.

This includes:

1. Reading and agreeing to the terms set forth in the Volunteer Agreement form (click link). 
2. Filling out the form below truthfully and to the best of your knowledge.
3. Arriving on time to your scheduled volunteer shift.
4. Dressing appropriately and comfortably for your volunteer position.
5. Agreeing to not carry any weapon, firearm, any item considered dangerous, alcohol, or drugs while on TCCA property.
6. Understanding that if you do not adhere to the rules above or attempt to falsify your personal information or time spent at TCCA, we reserve the right to terminate your community service with our organization and the right to contact your probation officer or agency contact person.
