Help us Cleanup the Heart of the Community Garden and
Replant Flowers in the Derry St Planters!
Interested in helping to keep Allison Hill beautiful? Join us in our efforts to keep the Heart of the Community Garden clean and tidy while also sprucing up the planters lining Derry Street! This is the perfect opportunity for friends, families, or small professional groups looking to give back!
We need volunteers who can:
- Clean up trash to restore the garden space
- Rake leaves
- Pick weeds & mow the grass (we have a lawn mower you can use)
- Refresh the Derry St planters by taking out weeds, adding soil, and planting new flowers
* This event will take place on Saturday, November 19th from 9:00 a.m. - noon. We will meet at 1514 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA (TCCA's main office) and walk over to the garden and Derry St planters together. Parking is available in the lot attached to our office.
* Light refreshments will be provided.
Please come out and support one of our final cleanups for the year as we prepare the garden for the winter season!
