Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Sunflower Fields Garden!
Each month I will update this page with available days and times to volunteer at the garden based off of the gardener and volunteers' schedules. You will receive an email when new shifts have been added.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Assist with garden chores like tilling soil, planting, weeding, turning compost, and watering
- Build and maintain small structures and fencing within the garden area
- Organize tool and garden shed
- Help clean and maintain garden plots and transform them into more attractive spaces
- Tidy up mulched spaces between garden beds
- Transfer plants and spread seeds in the meadow area
- Plant trees and shrubs in the food forest area
Location: There should be a small sign for the Sunflower Fields complex when you drive down Reichert Rd. When you see that, turn by the sign, and then the garden is a little bit up the road on the left. You can park in the lot in front of the garden or on the street.
