Help us clean up the Heart of the Community Garden in Harrisburg!
Interested in helping to keep Allison Hill beautiful? Join us in our efforts to keep the Heart of the Community Garden clean and tidy! This is the perfect opportunity for friends, families, or small professional groups looking to give back!
We need volunteers who can:
- Clean up trash to restore the garden space
- Mow the grass (we have a lawn mower you can use)
- Weed and water plants
- If you are able to bring your own gardening gloves, that would be very appreciated, but not required!
- Other revitalization activities as needed, such as painting, building small structures, etc.
We are looking for volunteers to "adopt" the garden each week. You can choose the week that fits with your schedule and can volunteer as little or as much time as you'd like.
You can volunteer any day during that week between Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Occasionally, we will have weekend opportunities.
